The benefits of detox include increased vitality, reduced blood fat (cholesterol and triglycerides), enhanced assimilation of vitamins and minerals, and mental clarity. People who have applied the detox program say they sleep better, have a more effective metabolism (there is a weakening effect) and have more energy. Various methods of detoxification are available; Water, fruit juice, certain diets, colon cleansing, liver and kidney cleansing, lymphatic detox and homeopathic remedies. Detox-related treatments include nutrition and herbal supplements to support exercise, lymphatic drainage, aromatherapy, anti-oxidant defense, and detox organs.
When we lose weight, we reduce our oils and we have toxin burden. However, more toxins are released during weight loss and therefore more protection should be provided by antioxidant nutrients such as water, fiber and vitamins C and E, beta carotene, selenium and zinc. Dr. Haas says that L-cysteine can also be used because it helps detox processes in the liver and intestines.
Michelle Pouliot, N.D. from Torrington, Connecticut, remembers a woman who forty years old was asking for help with a weight problem. The woman had had multiple operations and had a large history of prescription drug use. Dr. Pouliot helped to balance his health and put himself on the detox program using an untreated diet, occasionally two days of vegetable juice, light exercise and meditation. To help release toxins through the skin, Pouliot instructed Epsom to stay in the salted bath water and dry brush massages three times a week. Cranberry juice extract supplements with eight glasses of water a day helped to purify the kidneys from poisons. The fiber supplements carried the waste out of the column and the garden grass helped to detoxify the liver more effectively. Finally, deep breathing started his lungs. After three weeks, 17 pounds (about 8 kg) weakened.
Many health professionals use the promoter for therapeutic purposes other than weight loss, especially for detoxification. If weight is lost during fasting, but is not used as a transition to a healthy diet or healthy habits, the results are often not permanent. Fruit juice treatment is a major catalyst for change. However, if you want to try a prosthesis for any purpose, it is recommended that you get help from a trained health worker.
