Strawberries and blueberries are also beneficial. Among the plants that increase the acid acidity are nettle leaf, parsley, celery seeds and birch. Drinking herbal teas containing nettle helps the body throw excess uric acid. Two units of carrots, one unit of celeriac, and vegetable juice made from several branches of parsley can also reduce inflammation during an attack.

Life Style Preferences
In general, healthy eating and exercise reduce gut risk. Typical gut patients are overweight, regularly eat red meat, lots of alcohol, especially beer. Fast-losing diets also contribute to gout. Keeping a healthy life and a proper treatment program helps to keep the gut well under control.
